Friday & Organisation!

I tried to post this on Friday, but blogger was down and it wouldn't even let me log in. I forgot about posting on here over the weekend as I was really busy visiting James' family. Then today I woke up thinking I had something I needed to blog about, but couldn't remember what it was.. Thankfully it came back to me and it was about Friday! How could I have forgotten!?
So I have officially finished work now. Friday was my official last day, and it was really emotional. I made some really good friends at work and I almost didn't want to leave! But it was a really sweet day. About an hour before my shift was up, all the staff came out and presented me with a caterpillar cake! They sung "happy baby to you!" in the tune of 'happy birthday', and gave me a card which everyone had signed and added a personal message to. It was really sweet, I burst in to tears! The friend who had organised it all also gave me a box of chocolates and said "these are for you, I'm not giving Lilia anything until she's born.. but she's gonna be spoilt!" How sweet! I love her so much, she's such an amazing friend! I was really sad to go, and even some of the staff at Topshop were crying! Awh it was such a nice day!
I like to update my blog with photos, so I planned on taking a photo of the card and of the chocolates, but unfortunately I've already eaten all the choccies ha ha ha :P and James has put the card away and I can't get at it myself. I thought if I waited any longer to post this just for the sake of a photo I'd forget again, so I decided I'd do my two posts in one.. Just so I could upload a photo to the post. Ha!



Anyways. My second post. I've had a really organised head on recently, and all I've wanted to do is get things ready for Lilia. I don't know whether that's a sign that she's coming early, but I'm only 34 weeks so I hope it's not! I do still have a feeling that I'll go into labour before my due date though. In a way I hope I'm right. But anyway.. I've got this blue suitcase which I use when I go to Italy and such, and because it's got so many pockets and sections, etc, I decided it'd be perfect for my hospital case! So my mother dropped it off yesterday night, and I spent a few hours finding all the bits and bobs which I've bought to go in it. I put them into a plastic bag and then cleaned the case - yes, still nesting! So I wiped the case over with cleaning wipes and now all I've got to do is wash all the clothes which I'm taking into hospital for the baby, pick what I'm taking in for me, and put all my other bits and bobs in the case! Then I'm ready for Lilia! Ha ha, I love being organised! Some of the marks didn't come off the case :( Boo! But it's okay, haha.
