Eeeep!

This may sound SO sad, and it may be even sadder that I'm actually blogging about it, but..
I'M HAVING MY HAIR CUT!

You have NO idea how desperate I am for my hair to be cut. I absolutely HATE having long hair. It suits me, but my hair is so thick that it just weighs my head down and really hurts if I tie it back.
Anyway, I haven't had my hair cut in well over a year - and my hair grows pretty fast! So yeah. My hair is really long, down passed my boobs, and I can't cope any longer. I've had a style picked out for about six months, but I've just not had the money to book it.
I can't just go to any place because I've been loyal to my hairdresser for as long as I can remember. She's a family friend who has basically watched me grow up. She's a mobile hairdresser, so she goes to wherever her clients live, and she's always gone to my parents' house. I'd feel awful and as if I'm betraying her if I went anywhere else. Plus she's actually awesome. You know how you ask hairdressers for a trim and they cut off like half your hair and do the opposite of what you want? She doesn't. She does exactly what you ask for, and if you don't know what to have she'll come to your house prior to the appointment and sit down with you to talk through what she thinks will suit you, etc. Then she'll come back to you whenever the appointment was. She's just the best.
Anyways. I actually still don't have enough money for the haircut, what with bills and a baby whose due 24 days from today, etc. (I know - can you believe it :O!?) But my gorgeous mother was booking a hair cut and dye for herself anyway because she's going to a party soon with her work, so she said she'd book me in too. When I told her I can't afford it she said not to worry - it's her treat to me before little Lilia comes. I actually love her so much right now! Ha ha. I don't know how I would cope having hair as long as I do now when she's born. Not only would labour be hell and hot and my hair would be too heavy to tie back, but whenever I would hold her I imagine it would just get in the way. Ugh! I'm so excited. I really can't wait to get rid of these long, heavy, Italian locks! Ha.
I'm also excited to go to my parents house. I haven't been there in forever.
